Arts of Fashion Foundation Internship Opportunities

The Arts of Fashion Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the international cultural exchange between fashion designers, scholars, and students. We organize a variety of educational events including our annual International Student Fashion Design and Accessories Competition and our prestigious MasterClass-Series‹five days consisting of exhibitions, seminars, and workshops directed by world-renowned designers. Presently, the Arts of Fashion Student Competition is the only U.S. fashion design competition credited by 2007 Annual Guide Percosi di Creativita, published by LVMH.

The Arts of Fashion Foundation operates with an office in San Francisco.
The Office location requires a minimum commitment of one-month (15/20-hours per week) for general internships and three-months (at 15/20-hours minimum per week) for specialized internships. Resumes are reviewed on a monthly basis and candidates are contacted when interviews are appropriate.

Intern Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will vary depending on the candidate’s strengths, prior experience and the task where they are assigned.

Some general responsibilities include:

Advertising: Updating databases, conducting media research, media kit mailings
Promotions: Planning and execution of promotional events
Fundraising: Researching and developing sponsors relationships.
Administrative: Reception functions (phones, mail, faxing, supply orders, etc.

- The Arts of Fashion Foundation is unable to sponsor students needing H1 Visas
- All interviews must be conducted in person. (Please do not apply if you have yet to make relocation plans to San Francisco)
- Interns should be at least 20-years-old or going into their junior year of college
