JI AE BANG - Samsung Art and Design Institute - South Korea

A black eye is blooming - blooming of a black eye - Ji Ae Bang defined resilience with a hurt, a black eye.
Resilience - shape and volume from object are modified by an outside force and return to its original form when that force is gone.
The black eye is made by an outside force and will fade away with time.
For Ji Ae Bang a creation of a black eye looks like a blooming. So she defined a black eye as something which blooms and billows: "A black eye is blooming - blooming of a black eye". The image from that hurt is beautiful, but gloomy. Ji Ae Bang's collection is all about of the blooming of beauty, and the gloomy feminine side.
