Monika Lepschy's collection is inspired by one of the most resistant natural material which is a cobweb. Her entire collection is based on work with string. But to avoid primitive and popular look of intertwined cobweb, she chose macrame. This method is used like discreet label of product.
Because it is not possible to process the spider's fibers, Monika Lepschy chose to use a polytetrafluorethylen (PTFE) which is one of the most resistant man-made material.
A shape and type of shoes and accessories are designed purely for emphasis on handmade work with white string.
