SO YON LEE - Samsung Art and Design Institute - South Korea

So Yon Lee's definition of Resilience is how well we rise after falling to the bottom. Resilience is the capability to adapt and bounce back when things don't go quite as planned. Resillient people don't dwell on their failures: a great example of resilience is famous basketball player Michael Jordan. So Yon Lee got inspired by Michael Jordan and his logo as a distinctive design motif. So Yon Lee mirrored them to display the highest and the lowest points on upside down parabola which refers to one's ability graph. So Yon Lee wanted to give a very sporty mood with an overall look inspired by basketball uniform.
Organic and sporty curves and lines that make sections are considered of key point of So Yon Lee's design. (So Yon Lee will present silhouettes 1 & 3)
