TEREZA SVOLIKOVA - University. of West Bohemia Pilsen - Inst. of Art & Design - Czech Republic

Tereza Svolikova was inspired by clothing excavations and she made her clothing as a message to the future. Clothing are exposed to the influences of the environment and we can only find their damaged parts. She is conserving natural materials inside a vacuumed PVC - By vacuuming the air she wants to achieve certain structures of the material and clothing details inside the PVC to become invisible on the outside. The shapes of her designs are inspired by spread pattern cuts of the today's wardrobe. If found in hundred years, her garments could serve the future designers to make a dress typical for our age.
(Tereza Svolikova will present the silhouettes 1 & 3)
