The AF-Competition 2004 : “Sustainability and Fashion”, was presided over by Florence Muller (Fashion historian, Author & Curator) at Oklahoma State University on October 23, 2004 and in partnership with PFAFF.

The 3 Special U.S. Fashion Finalists were awarded a PFAFF sewing machine “Performance 2056” (Value Prize of $2800 ).
Each of the U.S. Finalists received a Certificate and one of them will have the opportunity to get a 80% scholarship (if accepted through the selection process) for the International Fashion Design Post-Graduate Program from the Institut Francais de la Mode - Paris (IFM)
